Chatter Creek
Situated on the western slopes of the Rocky Mountains, deep in Golden’s backcountry, Chatter is known for its large and spectacular terrain. Ski or snowboard our mind-blowing powder snow in 58,000 acres of alpine bowls, stunning glaciers and endless tree runs. This amazing place, Chatter Creek, is only 3 hours and a gorgeous helicopter flight away from western Canada’s second largest city, Calgary, Alberta.

What to Do
Cat skiing
The cat-skiing terrain at Chatter Creek is a gigantic domain covering 58,000 acres or 235 square kilometres providing incredible variety, with over 100 named descents and runs of up to 4,000 vertical feet. Our snowcat road network is close to 200 km and provides access to terrain that includes a mix of tree skiing, vast alpine bowls and spectacular glaciers. The views of the Rockies to the east include the Columbia and Clemenceau icefields and the Selkirks to the west, Mount Sir Sandford and the Adamants, are unparalleled.
Chatter Creek’s unique location on the western slopes of the Canadian Rockies benefits from a unique air mass which produces some of the lightest, driest powder snow in the world. We receive numerous major storms crossing the Monashee and Selkirk Mountains to the west, which grant us reliable snow from early December to late April.
At any one time, this vast area is shared by no more than 36 guests and their guides.

Hot Tub & Sauna
Other amenities include a large outdoor hot tub and a perfectly appointed sauna. The hot tub and sauna are a perfect way to relax after a satisfying day on the mountain.

Chatter Creek offers their guests a wide variety of unforgettable meals prepared by the chefs with your complete satisfaction as a goal. Every meal is prepared according to dietary needs.
I adhere to a paleo diet, they did an unbelievable job accommodating my needs.
Breakfast Buffet
From 7am-8am a breakfast buffet is served in the dining area. You can expect a variety of offerings such as eggs benedict, egg frittata, hash browns etc.
Dinner 3 course meal

Baked Goods
They have an in-house professional baker will also treat you daily with artisan breads, fine pastries and incredible baked goods.
